Lip Service - Series 2.

LIP SERVICE - SECOND SERIES ANNOUNCED.

The gripping BBC drama which follows the lives and loves of a group of Glaswegian lesbians - has been confirmed. The first series brought in an average of over half a million viewers across six episodes.

With a whole load of loose endings to tie up after the first series, viewers everywhere will heave a sigh of relief at the news that the adventures of Frankie (Ruta Gedmintas), Cat (Laura Fraser) and Tess (Fiona Button) are set to return to our screens.

Harry Lansdown, Acting Controller, BBC Three, says: “I’m delighted to announce there will be a second series of Lip Service; a deserved return for both the drama and its fantastically loyal following.”

 Writer and creator Harriet Braun adds: “I am incredibly happy to be given this opportunity to take the characters forward and to allow all of our loyal viewers a chance to get to know them even better. I’ve got some great twists, turns and surprises up my sleeve for series two.”
